Edenwest Ltd v CMS Cameron McKenna (a Firm) [2012] EWHC 1258 (Ch) - 14/5/12

Description

The appointment of solicitors to act for administrators of a company did not of itself create a duty of care to act owed to the company. Although administrators of a company were agents of the company the nature of their appointment did not give rise to all the usual obligations of an agent not least because their primary duty was to the appointing party rather than the company.
