Unfair Dismissal:

This appeal raised the question of the employers’ compliance with step 1 of the statutory dismissal procedure in a case of dismissal for redundancy; and whether the Employment Tribunal’s decision that there had been compliance was arrived at in error.  The ET’s decision was upheld on the facts and the appeal was dismissed.
