Adrian John Fleurs (40) was a prisoner being held in legal custody and serving a sentence of imprisonment at HM Prison Peterhead when he died in his cell at on 20th March 2006. The cause of his death was Coronary Artery Disease.

On 10 August 2005, Duncan Rowan MacLarty (71) in the course of his self employment as a farmer at Crasky Farm, Duncanston died when he fell through a perspex roof light in the roof of a barn and struck the concrete floor three meters below. The cause of death was a major head injury which he sustained when he fell.

This inquiry was held in terms of section 1(1)(a)(ii) of the Fatal Accidents and Sudden Deaths Inquiry Scotland Act 1976 into the circumstances of the death of Jordan McLaughlin, aged 18 years, who was pronounced dead on Thursday, 30th September 2004 from (a) Waterhouse Friderichsen Syndrome, and (b) Meningococcal Septicaemia. 2

Derek Ian Crook died on 22nd December 2004 at HM Prison Castle Huntly, Longforgan being in legal custody having been imprisoned by the High Court of Justiciary on 22nd February 2001 for a period of 10 years.Crook hanged himself by a edsheet.

Daniel Barclay born 5 June 1985 died at Stirling Royal Infirmary, Livilands Gate, Stirling on 17 May 2005 after hanging himself by the neck within cell B3, Crammond Block, HM Young Offenders' Institution, Polmont on 4 May 2005.

Between 5 pm on Sunday 14th November 2004 and 8 am on Monday 15th November 2004 whilst alone within cell 5, segregation unit, HM Prison, Shotts the deceased hanged himself by a bed sheet suspended from a metal frame on the outside of the window there. This inquiry was held in terms of Section 1(i)(a)(ii) of the Fatal Accidents and Sudden Deaths Inquiry Scotland Act 1976 into the circumstances of the death of Allan Menzies who was detained in legal custody.

Robert Watson aged 59 years, died on 24 August 2005 at the Royal Infirmary, Glasgow following an accident on 21 August 2005 at North Bardowie Farm, Baldarnock whilst he was working as a self employed farmer. The deceased whilst either mounting or dismounting a tractor fell. He suffered a fracture to his left tibia. He was admitted to Glasgow Royal Infirmary and underwent surgery on 22 August 2005.
